Question 1

How do I get to Allan Bungalow?

Accepted Answer

Fly to Ambon, then take a fast boat (Express Bahari) from Tulehu, or the Pelni ferry. On arrival you cross the last stretch by village boat — three to five minutes. Share your sailing details and we will send a boat to meet you.

Question 2

Do I need to book a boat transfer separately?

Accepted Answer

No. Tell us your ferry or flight time when you book and we will arrange the crossing. The jetty pickup is included in the transfer addon.

Question 3

Is the room rate the total I pay?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the rate per night is what you pay, and breakfast is included for all guests.

Question 4

Can I snorkel from the bungalow?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The water is clear and the coral is alive right off the steps. Lava Flow, the 1988 lava flow dive site, is minutes away.

Question 5

Do you arrange flights, boats and tours?

Accepted Answer

We arrange the boat transfer and all the day trips and the Mount Banda trek. Flights are yours to book, but we will tell you which sailing times work with the boat.

Question 6

How stable is the internet?

Accepted Answer

There is free Wi-Fi at the property. Mobile signal on Banda Neira is intermittent, which is exactly why we take bookings through WhatsApp and confirm everything before you travel.

Question 7

Is there a deposit?

Accepted Answer

No deposit is required today, we confirm the booking directly on WhatsApp. This may change once we introduce online payment.

Question 8

Why book direct instead of an OTA?

Accepted Answer

You pay the same rate, talk to the same people who will host you, and every booking goes to the family running the bungalow instead of a platform commission.
